Avery’s practice is primarily focused on agricultural, residential, and commercial enforcement and foreclosure proceedings on behalf of various lenders, Credit Unions and leasing companies. She also practices in the areas of real estate, farm financing, estate planning and estates. Avery has taught courses on several legal topics including collection, judgment enforcement and lending, and has experience in professional discipline investigations.
Upon completion of her Juris Doctor in 2011, Avery returned to Langenburg to article under her father, The Honourable Donald Layh. Avery has successfully argued cases at all levels of Court in Saskatchewan and is a practicing member of both the Saskatchewan and Manitoba Bar Associations.
Avery occupies her free time with her two children and husband. She enjoys outdoor activities, painting, travelling and volunteering in all aspects of the arts community in Langenburg.
After graduating from the University of Brandon with a Bachelor of Education in 2011, Pamela and her husband returned to her hometown of Russell, Manitoba, and then settled in Langenburg in 2013.
Pamela enjoys learning and new challenges. She has ten years of experience as a legal assistant in the areas of corporate law, collection matters, real estate and general administration. She is pleased to continue her legal administrative journey with Layh Law Company!
Pamela stays busy with her two boys who are involved in a wide range of activities including music lessons, soccer, and downhill ski racing. Pamela sits on the Langenburg United Soccer Organization and volunteers her time as a performer at Vagabond Theatre in Binscarth, MB. Her entire family loves skiing and can regularly be found at the local ski hill on weekends.
